General Information

• Philosophy of this Event:

  Throughout the past few years Light Simulation has been a fast growing method to accelerate the development process of components for the lighting industry. Most companies that have used light simulation in the development process are not only working with one Light Simulation product, but with several different ones. Independent from the used Simulation Software, fundamental questions are virtually the same: how to model realistically the word?

   International Light Simulation Symposium (ILISIS) has the intention to bring together the Light Simulation software developers and their users. It is an opportunity for a scientific exchange about experiences in modelling optical behavior.

  7th / 8th of March 2012, it is intended to perform this symposium  biennially at the beginning of March

  The conference language is English (no simultaneous translation).
   
• Proceedings:
  

  The Proceedings will be published as a book in Steinbeis Edition and will be provided to the participants at the Symposium.
